Time Management

Why Time Management?

Studies of highly effective people reveal that they have clear and specific ideas about what they want to achieve. Their methods of defining outcomes go beyond traditional goal setting. Traditional time management systems act as reminders, planners and controllers. They may help you to be more efficient - do they help with effectiveness?

What results will I achieve?

As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Use time more effectively by identifying current time consumers
  • Construct well-formed outcomes and avoid the common mistakes of in-appropriate goal setting
  • Separate the important from the unimportant, the urgent from the non-urgent
  • Allocate time appropriately and buy extra time every day
  • Expect the Unexpected by incorporating sufficient time in the daily schedule to manage interruptions
  • Create more time by working more efficiently with others
  • Identify the optimum order in which to do activities and formulate a personal work schedule
  • Maintain effective time management systems, even when under pressure

Who is it for?

Anyone who is looking for greater control, or a greater sense of being in control, over their time, and thus their lives.

How is it structured?

Skills are demonstrated by the tutors, using short input sessions, exercises and skills practise. Frameworks are all modelled upon people who have demonstrated excellence in their field.
