Leader Manager

Why Leader Manager?

The historical view of leadership success has been that it comes from managing the individual behaviours of employees. This is no longer sufficient. Today, leadership success results from managing and balancing five key practices that shape the performance of individuals and groups.

What results will I achieve?

The skills participants develop will help them create and sustain work units, which are characterised by Excellence, adaptability and continuous learning. They will be able to achieve the seemingly contradictory balance of attention to profit and services, operations and strategy, improvement and innovation, consistency and versatility. A number of modules are presented, covering how to:

  • Balance employee and organisational needs
  • Create a sense of mission
  • Gain commitment to performance goals
  • Seek and provide feedback
  • Link recognition to performance
  • Develop a supportive environment
  • Go Forward

Who is it for?

Designed for all managers (line and project), this programme provides a context and framework to prepare them for their new role as leader manager.

How are our workshops structured?

Skills are demonstrated by the tutors, using short input sessions, exercises and skills practise. Frameworks are all modelled upon people who have demonstrated Excellence in their field.
