Rob Hayes

After a successful background in sales and management, working in the UK and the USA, Rob joined Excel Communications in 1995 as a trainer and business developer.  He was appointed a director in 1998 and became Managing Director in 2005 after completing a successful buy-out of the company.  He has been instrumental in the recent record growth and development of the Excel Group.

Rob’s current role encompasses a combination of strategic business planning, leadership, facilitation and business development. He is passionate about Excel Communications leading the way with innovative solutions to current and future training challenges, as can be seen from the creation of Excel Encore and The Excel Academy. He is also still involved with the design and delivery of certain training programmes to a variety of blue chip clients in a wide range of countries. Over the last 15 years Rob has worked extensively with a wide range of pharmaceutical companies.

During his 15 years with Excel Communications, he has developed a substantial client base, whilst also being renowned as a trainer, facilitator and leadership coach.  He believes learning should be challenging, enjoyable and result focused and is recognised as an engaging speaker.

Rob is an NLP Master Practitioner, a Master Trainer for Power with Groups, Presentation Excellence and a number of other programmes. He also trains other trainers.  He has a range of other training certifications and has been lead judge for the UK Sales Presenter of the Year and a lead judge at the Pharmaceutical Sales Awards. He is also a qualified sports coach.


Nic Hallett

Nic is a Director at Excel Communications as well as being an Account Manager, Executive Coach and Trainer; having previously been successful in blue chip sales, management, learning and development.  He is one of the company’s leading developers of teams and people, either as part of creating a high performance culture or managing the change brought about by strategic changes, mergers and acquisitions.

Nic has an engaging, fun and interactive style, bringing creativity to a range of learning events.  He has a particular passion for working with teams and training trainers, as well as having designed the outstanding “Outcome Selling” sales programme.

Milestones in his career to date include:

  • Board Director of Excel Communications since 2004
  • Training consultant at Excel Communications from 1999 managing design and delivery of interventions including:
    • management training and team development
    • global Train The Trainer accreditation programmes
    • communication and selling skills for sales people
    • influencing and communication skills for healthcare and clinical professionals
  • Ten years delivering Organisational Development, Sales Training, Coaching and Management in a top ten pharmaceutical organisation

Life science degree educated, Nic is certified in the use and application of the MBTI and FIRO-B, licensed in Social Styles and is an NLP Master Practitioner.   In addition to his family life, Nic is also a BSAC Dive Leader and is Chairman of one of Berkshire’s largest scuba diving clubs.


Guy Pinfold

Guy has a proven track record in consistently delivering high standard, results driven, communication, influencing and negotiation skills training. With an emphasis on fun and enjoyment the key outcome to all of Guy’s training is that delegates leave with skills that will have an immediate impact in their working lives.

Prior to joining Excel, Guy held field sales, man management, key account management and marketing roles within Coca-Cola Enterprises and was head of Sales Force Effectiveness for Bristol Myers Squibb pharmaceuticals.

He is engaging in style with a flexible and knowledgeable approach that allows everyone to take away both key learnings and their own very individual desired outcomes.

Guy is fully accredited by the Institute of Trainers and licensed to deliver worldwide the renowned Wilson Learning courses, Social Styles, Counsellor Salesperson and Versatile Sales Person.


Will Lakeman

Will specialises in communication and influence and continues to create lasting change in some of the world’s most successful organisations.

Formally UK Head of Training in two global pharmaceutical organisations, for the last decade he has consistently delivered in over 50 leading companies across a dozen industries worldwide. From BBC Directors to International Research Scientists, from High Street Fashion Designers to Sales Professionals, from European Marketing Managers to Boiler Engineers.

Clients tell him they like him for his adaptability, his willingness to challenge and his passion for giving them their money’s worth. They also like the fact that their people enjoy the journey.

Over the years Will has produced excellent results within a wide range of industries and organisations, working both in the UK and overseas with a wide range of multi-national audiences.

Will is most frequently asked to make a difference in inter-personal effectiveness, influencing and presenting. Will is a Certified Master Practitioner of NLP, Master Trainer for Social Styles and Versatile Salesperson and an Accredited MBTI Trainer.


Sharon Newey

With over 16 years of success in sales, training and management, Sharon brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her training with Excel Communications.

Sharon is passionate about working with people and assisting them to realise their true potential in the corporate arena and creates an environment that allows them to do so and achieve the client’s goals.

Sharon specialises in Cultural Transformation and Leadership Development, working with Boards and Senior Leaders to assist them in creating and leading aligned cultures. Sharon is also leader trained in Presentation Excellence, Chairmanship and Facilitation, Leading Teams and Managing Interpersonal Relationships, to name but a few.

Sharon combines training, facilitation and coaching and is a firm believer that people learn even faster when they are having fun. Sharon uses some of the latest behavioural tools and techniques in her work. Sharon’s work also includes, communication, decision-making, team building, relationship building, building trust and commitment.

Sharon is a Master Practitioner and Certified Trainer of NLP, She is also certified in Cultural Transformation Tools, Associate Member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and Associate of the Robert Dilts Global Training Consultancy.


Daniel Jauregui

Daniel is Spanish-speaking Argentinean by birth and is an engaging trainer, key note speaker, executive coach and widely published author based in Barcelona.

Daniel has an enviable track record as a business and sports coach as well as academic credentials that include a Masters Degree in Organisational Coaching and a Professorship at the Argentine School of Coaching and NLP where he gained his Master Practitioner status. In addition to his love of sports coaching Daniel specialises in working with the senior leaders in large organisations such as Four Seasons Hotels, Moet Hennessy, TNS and Ingenix Pharmaceuticals.

Daniel is a published author and has written several articles on high performance for specialist sports journals. He is also the author of the thesis entitled “The art of coaching for learning artistic disciplines”.

Daniel has worked as a coach for 60 consecutive weekends for the GST program (Goals, Strategies and Transformation), focusing on leadership and empowerment. He has a particular focus on values and actions related to mental aptitudes: personal power, accountability, success acceptance and assimilation, commitment, team work, emotional intelligence, creativity, ongoing education process.

While living in Argentina, he used to be Professor and Coach at the Argentine School of Coaching and NLP.


Ralph Nelson-Tucker

Ralph has built up an impressive CV in sales, management and training initially within the demanding hotel profession and has then spent the last ten years with Excel Communications specialising in training for public speaking, management development, coaching and trainer training.

He specialises in Presentation Excellence, Chairmanship & Facilitation Skills, Media and Communication and has worked with clients such as, NatWest Bank, The Post Office, Arthur D Little, Taylor Nelson Sofres , Mowlem Construction, Adelphi Communications, Synovate, Serco, Granada Studios and Land Securities Trillium.

Ralph brings a wealth of skill and knowledge, focused on improving a wide range of communication and behavioural skills for greater interpersonal effectiveness. Ralph is dedicated to improving personal performance in both the corporate environment and public sector. 

Ralph is a Certified NLP Practitioner and holds an advanced diploma in Psychometric Profiling. He is also fluent in French.


Mark De Cosemo

Mark progressed through Sales Management, Sales Training and eventually became a Management Coach. He left the industry to pursue a career as a Trainer and Coach.

Although Mark’s background is in various aspects of Sales Force Effectiveness, his real passion is in the design and delivery of bespoke training interventions around all aspects of communication. Mark has a particular interest in the application of current thinking around interpersonal communication to enhance success within the sales environment.

Mark has worked with companies including Calea, GSK, Sanofi-Aventis, MSD, Celgene, BMS, Takeda, Booking.com and Brandtechtonics.

Mark has a proven track record in implementing both large scale and individual training interventions across a wide range of sectors including pharmaceutical, blue chip, market research and manufacturing. Mark is an experienced performance coach, incorporating a variety of tools to produce a unique personal approach.

Mark is an NLP Master Practitioner and is Level “A” Accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) in Psychometric Analysis.


Graham Smith

For many years Graham was a professional musician and song-writer. He starred in his own series on HTV and as a session musician in Europe and America he recorded and performed with such people as Eric Clapton, Harry Nilsson, ELP, Bob Weir, Al Stewart and Cat Stevens. He has also managed bands in both the UK and the USA.

Graham’s management experience includes roles as production manager for two organisations in the Los Angeles merchandising industry, restaurant management and promotion from manager to managing director of a company manufacturing bespoke specialist garments for the music and movie industries, again in Los Angeles.

He has been training and coaching for a wide variety of blue-chip companies, working with people from supervisor to board level in the UK and Europe, including healthcare, financial, insurance, construction, leisure, telecommunications, government, manufacturing and property sectors.

Examples of clients that Graham has worked with include; MSD, Roche, GSK, Pfizer, Bayer, Janssen-Cilag, Bristol Myers Squibb, Quintiles, Shire, Nutricia, The Environment Agency, Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, Eagle Star Insurance, Orange, HSBC, First Direct and Barclays Bank.

Graham is a Master Practitioner of NLP and has a Diploma in Business Performance Coaching, Symbolic Modelling, Developmental Behavioural Modelling, Design Human Engineering. Graham is a licensed facilitator of Thinking Styles, a psychometric instrument used as a springboard for personal and professional development.


Tony Bray


Tony brings to the Excel team a wide range of management and people skills, which he gained through first hand experience in a diversity of management roles within the telecommunications industry.


A long advocate of accelerated learning Tony ensures that all his courses and workshops offer a rich mixture of concepts and underlying theories, woven into a participative and empowering experience.

Tony is a published author on business topics, with cumulative sales approaching £2m. The titles reflect the range of training courses he delivers: from quality management to customer care; from team working to business writing; and from meeting skills to recruitment and selection.


Gustavo Guillen

Gustavo (known as Gus) is Spanish by birth and is a creative trainer, executive coach and mentor in business strategy, based in Barcelona.

He successfully completed his MBA at the University Of Buenos Aires, Argentina, a business challenge that significantly enhanced his success as Managing Director of a large market research company.  After a number of years in the corporate world he chose to move into the people side of leadership, management and communication and has coaching qualifications from both Buenos Aires and Barcelona. He was trained in coaching and different experiential techniques by CSA Europe Trainers in Buenos Aires, between 1999 and 2002, and then by European Coaching School in Barcelona, 2008.

Gus works for large corporations, in areas such as individual coaching for directors, managers, sales and marketing teams. Gus has worked with clients such as, Experian, Meyer Action Marketing in Spain, TNS and Brand Value.

He has since become an NLP Master Practitioner and, in addition to his work with senior business leaders, specialises in sports coaching and training.  His work with large corporations includes the directors and managers within the sales and marketing functions of companies such as Experian, Moet Hennessy, BASF and TNS.


Barbara Frodsham

Barbara is a highly skilled, experienced facilitator and qualified coach with 20 years experience within a variety of industries and blue chip organisations. She has worked in the UK, Europe and the USA. Her main areas of expertise are Communication, Leadership, Career Planning and transition, Emotional Intelligence and Personal Mastery.

She is a certified trainer of NLP and incorporates NLP thinking and techniques into her work.  She aims to create a significant positive difference in her work with people, enabling them to achieve and capitalise on their potential.  She designs and delivers practical, interactive and fun interventions that make a difference to how people think and feel.  She loves to enable participants to make shifts at the level of beliefs and values, which makes learning even easier.  She has a knack for making complex issues easy to understand.

She is fun, enthusiastic and inspirational.  She loves her work and does it with great empathy and energy. Barbara is also fluent in French.


Phil Ingle

Prior to working as a trainer for Excel Communications Phil was a Project Manager in Barclays Bank, running projects across a variety of training areas including Managers with high Net Worth Clients and Regulated Sales. He has also been a High Street Bank Manager and therefore has experience of day-to-day operational issues.

Phil now designs and delivers training in communication skills. He specialises in the skills required to deliver confidence and professionalism, especially Presentation Skills, Running Effective Meetings and Interviewing. He also provides executive coaching for those in management positions, especially in changing situations.

Phil has designed and run training programmes in a wide range of organisations including banks, insurance, research, defence contractors, legal services, pharmaceutical, and a variety of other manufacturing businesses and service related sectors. He has worked with clients such as, GSK, Bayer Schering, UCB, Astra Zeneca, Bausch & Lomb, Arthur D Little, BMS, Chandler Chico, Morse, Mundipharma, Novartis, Pfizer, Takeda.

Some of his most popular workshops include: Managing & Influencing Relationships, Presentation Skills, Chairmanship & Facilitation, Leadership & Leading Teams, Interviewing with Impact and Change Management.

Phil’s qualifications include an MBA from Cranfield University, and he is an NLP Master Practitioner.  He also holds the Financial Planning Certificate, is Level A qualified in Psychometric Testing through the British Psychological Society, and a Graduate CIPD member. In addition he is a Member of the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning, The Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Professional Speakers Association.


Chris McCloskey

Chris

Chris is an international trainer and coach with a wealth of specialist experience and knowledge in advanced interpersonal communication skills. Chris has also had the benefit of significant senior management experience; managing multi-million pound budgets and diverse teams. Chris has been a senior member of the Excel Communications team for over 6 years and he has extensive experience in both group working and 1:1 coaching.

Chris has worked within many blue-chip companies and much of his work has been in the healthcare and research industries where he has successfully helped directors, consultants and managers of all levels to develop and raise their performance. Clients include, Takeda, Celgene, GE Money, Chandler Chicco and Taylor Nelson Sofres.

Feedback from clients consistently highlights Chris’s wealth of knowledge, combined with a passion to support others’ learning and a delivery style that is light, humorous and appropriately challenging.

Some of his most popular workshops include: Coaching For Performance, Leader & Manager, Managing & Influencing Others, Influencing & Negotiation Skills, Advanced Communication Skills (Dealing with Difficult People in Difficult Situations), Professional Presentation Skills, Power with Groups, Mentoring for Excellence, and Performance Appraisal Skills.

Chris’s qualifications include: Certified Trainer and Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). He is a Certified NLP Coach and has a Masters Degree in Applied Educational Psychology, Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in Psychology & Education.


Gill Pearson

Gill has over 10 years experience in training delivery, including sales, change management, coaching, reward and recognition and business planning. She also has over 6 years experience as a business training consultant and coach.

Recently, Gill delivered a highly successful, inspiring and change focused leadership training for one of her clients. Delegates came from all over the world to participate in this three-day programme that Gill designed. This enabled employees, with recognised leadership aptitude and people management responsibility, to enhance their core skills including developing personal & professional impact, delivering performance and results, engaging individuals with the business, embracing and facilitating change, driving team dynamics (recruit, retain & develop), and measuring own (and other’s) success. This workshop is run several times each year.

Gill has also recently worked with the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team for one client over the last two years to improve their self-awareness and effectiveness as individuals and as a management team.  This has involved the use of a 360 tool developed with follow-up 1:1 coaching.

Gill is a certified NLP practitioner and coach, certificated trainer in Hypnotherapy and has a diploma in Management Coaching and Mentoring.



Tim Fearon

Having already been behind the launch of two successful businesses, Tim’s career in training and development began nearly twenty years ago when he joined The Industrial Society, then Europe’s leading independent provider of training and development in the workplace.  There he took responsibility for Leadership Development within the not-for-profit sector, working with, and coaching Directors and senior managers at organisations such as Oxfam, Save the Children and the British Red Cross.  Moving from the not-for-profit sector, he continued this work with BP, KPMG, Barclays Bank and The Army.

He now works with organisations across a wide range of commercial sectors including pharmaceuticals, finance, leisure and media.  Recent work which reflects his passion for leadership and personal development, includes clients such as GE Money, ITV, The Economist Group, Lloyds TSB, Astra Zeneca, Aegis Media, Synovate, Wyeth, Arthur D Little and Standard Chartered Bank.

His most recent work in the leadership arena encompasses a major Leadership Development programme for Aegis Media, training and coaching the CEO’s of their international associated businesses.  He has also played a leading part in the development and delivery of the current ‘Leading In Challenging Times’ programme for GE Money Home Lending.


   


Gerry Talbot

Gerry spent 10 years working within the NHS in Histopathology, Electron Microscopy and Cancer Research before moving into the sales arena, joining the pharmaceutical industry in 1988. From here Gerry progressed from direct face-to-face selling into Regional Sales Training, Regional Management and then National Sales Management. His desire for finding increasing challenges led him into a training role and for the last decade has worked with a diverse number of clients on a 1:1 and group basis.

His training experience spans many different business sectors including healthcare, retail, utilities, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, local government, engineering, building and biotech. A few examples of clients Gerry has worked with are: NHS Clinicians, Nurses, Pharmacists and GP Practices, Innovex, Quintiles, GSK, BMS, CSR, Cambridge Consultants, Arthur D Little, Takeda, Innovia, Sentec, Amgen, Jewson, Athena, Pfizer, Bayer.

Gerry has designed and delivered several large projects including a UK wide Management Development Programme for over 400 delegates. He is an extremely flexible and creative communicator who will challenge conventional thinking and stretch delegates so that they can fulfil their potential. Gerry has run many successful interventions including projects from influencing and negotiation skills, interviewing and appraisal skills, building benchmarking systems to full scale and long-term leadership development programmes. He also enjoys 1:1 work including coaching, counselling, mentoring and clinical hypnotherapy.

Gerry is an NLP Master Practitioner and Certified Trainer in NLP. He also has a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and a Wellards NHS Diploma.


Zena Knight

Zena has worked in a sales environment for over 20 years. Her sales career started when she left school and was employed by her father to generate telephone appointments for his double glazing business. Her desire for success continued as she supported herself during her gap year selling seafood in bars and paintings door to door around Australia.

She moved into a more formal sales arena when she joined the pharmaceutical industry in 1984. From here, Zena progressed from direct face-to-face selling into regional sales management. Her desire for continual development eventually led her into a training role where she continues to be passionate about making learning both successful and enjoyable.

Her training experience spans many different business sectors including retail, utilities, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, local government, engineering, building and biotech. Peter Woodward

 

Peter's background is in Sales and Marketing, having started as a Medical Representative in the Pharmaceutical Industry.  Peter then moved successfully through Regional Sales Management, Product and Marketing Management, all with multi-national companies, and always with great emphasis on, and responsibility for, the Training and Development role.

Peter has worked on many projects involving technical sales people.  He specialised in communication skills - from behavioural to interpersonal skills, presentation to customer service skills, and selling, negotiation and consulting skills, in order to utilise his own experience and expertise in these areas to add extra value and meaning for the participants.

David Harrison

David is strongly committed to coaching individuals and teams to exceed their expectations.

Combining over twenty-five years of business experience with four years as a TV and film actor, he brings to Excel a uniquely entertaining and thought provoking training style.

He passionately believes that learning should be an enjoyable experience, and this is reflected in the types of sessions he designs and delivers. His innovative methods of coaching - either the skills and techniques to create a water colour painting or the technical circus skills to be able to deliver a performance - allows him to bring new challenges and insights for those who end up working outside their initial comfort zones. And after the fun everyone takes home clear and unique learnings for their world of business.

David is a respected conference speaker, regularly working with top teams and is also a speaker for the Academy for Chief Executives.


Nicki Lecky-Thompson

Nicki is a team turnaround consultant and trainer specialising in developing behavioural skills to generate passion and maximise effectiveness.  She has over 17 years experience working for and with blue chip organisations; over 9 years experience of training and facilitation with 6 years experience of consultancy and providing bespoke solutions.

Nicki is passionate that her learning solutions generate long term results and ensures her solutions are both memorable and applicable enabling her clients to remember their learnings and apply them back in the workplace.  As a master practitioner in NLP, all of Nicki’s training sessions and workshops are underpinned with NLP techniques and apply accelerated learning principles.  Nicki is a certified Master Practitioner of NLP, Time Line Therapy & Hypnosis and a certified facilitator of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People programme by Stephen Covey.


Terry McLean

Terry McLean is an experienced trainer based in Barcelona, Spain. He has a post graduate degree in Linguistics and has worked for 20 years as a teacher, teacher trainer, professional actor, director, corporate host and corporate presenter.

And it is in the corporate environment that Terry has been able to find a synthesis for all his experience.

From training teachers to directing actors; from interactive theatre, to handling 1000 GE sales conference delegates; from the discipline of TV and film, to training speakers in discipline; the same skills are involved.

Terry also speaks French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Catalan

Sarah Christie

Having spent 20 years successfully working in the City of London financial organisations and the past 10 years with the world’s leading TV production company, Sarah is an experienced manager, trainer and coach, her niche area focusing on personal excellence.  She is committed to helping professional and competent individuals develop curiosity about their potentially untapped abilities whilst removing limiting beliefs and hopefully having some fun along the way!

Relaxed and enthusiastic in style, Sarah brings warmth & humour to her coaching and training, bringing NLP techniques to life when delivering presentation skills, leadership, assertiveness and communicating with confidence.  Sarah is a certified NLP Master Practitioner and a qualified corporate coach.


Joanne Bonsey

Jo brings fifteen years experience in a broad range of professional roles in blue chip organisations, most recently within the pharmaceutical industry.  She has successfully gained experience within sales roles, training, medical information and customer services management.  Most latterly being responsible for the design and set up of a highly profitable, UK based outbound sales call centre including the recruitment and training of staff.

Jo is passionate about helping companies maximise the business potential of every contact they have with their customers, by creating training that motivates teams to provide customers with an outstanding and yet profitable experience.

Not surprisingly her areas of expertise include communicating effectively by telephone in customer service and sales environments, business process improvement, and project management. She also specialises in presentation skills and the communication of complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

Jo has a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biology and is an NLP Master Practitioner

 


Sally Fagan

Originally from a linguistic and sales background, Sally now specialises in soft skills development with a focus on all aspects of communication skills.  She has been successfully training for the last 16 years with all levels of management and professionals across Europe and Asia Pacific, both in her native English as well as in fluent German.  Sally also has good French and can get by in a number of other languages as well.  In the medical field, Sally has worked with pharmaceutical companies in both personal development and corporate merger and acquisition, as well as working on aspects of communications skills and recruitment with healthcare professionals in the UK.

Sally particularly enjoys delivering Presentation Skills because participants see and feel how quickly they improve.
She is a Certified Practitioner of NLP, an accredited Executive Coach, a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, and an Associate Member of the CIPD.


Steve Short

Steve has been a training consultant since 1989 and has a wide experience of working with clients from the NHS, private health, legal, manufacturing, IT, construction and food production sectors. His style is facilitative and enabling  and he is passionate about helping others learn, rather than simply teaching them. His philosophy on learning is that people learn best when having fun (even when the issues are difficult) and are engaged in the process.

Steve’s passion is working with teams and team leaders to help them resolve conflict and enabling individuals to maximise their potential at work.  He is a Member of the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning  and Steve has a Masters degree in Strategic Leadership, from Salford University. 


Liz Carrighan

Liz is an experienced leadership development consultant and executive coach.  Her career started with the NHS before moving to sales and training within the pharmaceutical sector.  She then moved to an HR consulting company where she was a senior executive and set up the executive coaching and leadership development practice.

She is a certified trainer in NLP, incorporating it into her coaching and leadership development work.  She is also an experienced facilitator and mediator.  She is accredited to use the Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI) and Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).  She holds an advanced diploma in coaching and mentoring from Oxford Brookes University and is completing her Masters in Coaching and Mentoring there also.

Paul Bennett

Paul is a is a multi-skilled professional with over 15 years of experience in a variety of business activities including Training Manager for a large London training company and Leadership Development responsibilities for The Body Shop International.

His areas of expertise lie in learning and development, human resources, project management, information technology and the ability to blend these disciplines. His particular strength comes from a mix of the logical and analytical supported by strong interpersonal and communication skills.

As an NLP practitioner and counselor Paul has a grounded and very personable style of coaching and working with others. His work experience continues to include a role as lecturer in Systems Analysis and Design at Bournemouth University.


Markus Jotzo

Markus’ speciality is public speaking, coaching and leadership development.  He has nine years of personal leadership experience, in both Marketing and Sales roles in a range of fast moving consumer goods organisations, which he brings into every coaching and training opportunity.

His goal is to improve the well-being of all participants and therefore enhance their work results.  His experience in the FMCG industry has allowed him to develop a passionate and challenging style as both a trainer and coach. Result orientation, self responsibility and confidence are his values. Markus also coaches and develops teams and he is a keen sales trainer.

Markus enjoyed a systemic coaching education (Coaching for Results) in Holland and a NLP education in Germany.  Having studied and trained all over Europe and the USA,  his mother tongue is German but he is also fluent in English.

Alistair has over 20 years of business and consulting experience across multiple industries.  He combines his leadership development and coaching skills with his broader business experiences to assist clients in the improvement of employee contribution and performance. Alistair is a specialist in the design and deployment of Talent Management solutions.

Gilly has a refreshing training style and is skilled at engaging with her participants, thus making training enjoyable and rewarding. Gilly is an experienced Trainer and Executive Coach specialising in personal effectiveness, presentation skills, motivation, advanced communication skills and management development and has trained, coached and consulted in a number of industries including retail, media, leisure and charity. She also runs workshops on goal setting, attitude and making change.

Gilly is a certified NEBOSH Health and Safety Trainer, a qualified Fitness Coach and NLP Practitioner.  She has a great understanding of different cultures and has worked with over 15 organisations in Asia and many more in the UK and Australasia. Her commercial background spans marketing (CIM qualified), buying, category management, business planning, and market analysis & research.


Roberta Grossi

Roberta is experienced in several fields which include: leadership, management, communication, cross-cultural skills, facilitation skills, creativity, customer relations, sales, train the trainer and effective presentations. Roberta has also taught part-time for the past 15 years in several universities in the USA and in Europe.

With a background in Speech Communication (MA), International Management and Marketing (MBA), Distance Learning (MAED) and a doctorate in cross-cultural management and e-learning, Roberta has created an exclusive training method in cross-cultural skills that more than 10 multinational have adopted to date.

Italian by origin, Roberta speaks several languages and can conduct training and teach classes in French, English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.

David Evans

David’s work in training began nearly ten years ago, delivering high level development programmes to sales managers and key account teams.  Having drawn upon his corporate experience of sales and business management, his portfolio of training expertise also includes helping clients implement Talent Management frameworks, specifically designed to help all professional staff sustain an ever increasing contribution to the needs of their organisations.  In support of this he delivers additional programmes for team leadership, coaching and presentation skills.

With a background in engineering, David brings over 25 years’ experience working internationally in sales and business management (supplying professional services and technology solutions to tier one manufacturers), to his training. He combines his business development expertise with a career-long interest in the competitive business impact that results from engaging staff in personal leadership and development.

David Bates

After much sales success and recognition in national, key and business development account roles, it was in ‘developing people’ that Dave derived greater pleasure. 

Despite extensive commercial experience in sales, marketing and general management with sports and fashion companies such as Amer Sports (Wilson, Salomon and Atomic), Nike, Puma and VF Corp. (Lee, Wrangler & The North Face) it was with the creation, development and leading of teams and individuals that Dave knew where his future lay.

With a high level of self-awareness and awareness of others, Dave is able to tailor his style and format according to the needs of the audience.  With a calm, yet enthused, adult to adult approach, delegates quickly feel at ease and relaxed.
