MBTI in Organisations
The how-to of building sustainable, motivated teams
What is the cost of unproductive team working relationships in today’s competitive market place? With internal relationships the costs in time, frustration, low motivation and productivity are substantial. With customers even more can be at stake.
For leaders, managers and teams, being able to work together, influence and motivate each other is no longer a nice-to-have. It is an essential for personal and business success. The key to working more productively with others is knowing their values, beliefs and communication strategies, which we can better understand by applying the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). This workshop equips participants with that critical knowledge, using leading-edge learning technologies.
Objectives
By the end of the workshop participants will:
- Have completed the MBTI assessment questionnaire
- Understand the four key elements that underpin successful teams
- Know their own team working preferences through the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) profile
- Be able to recognise the preferences of others
- Be more versatile in their interactions with a wide variety of people
- Use compelling and influential language
- Reduce conflict and maximise rapport
- Have significantly enhanced their understanding of what really makes people tick
Training Method
The workshop will be highly participative with a mixture of short inputs and practical activities. MBTI profiles will be used to enhance participant’s awareness and understanding of the skills used by highly effective teams.
Result
No longer will participants have people whom they do not understand or cannot work with. Difference is respected and the ability of people to motivate, inspire and influence individuals and groups is transitioned to new levels.
