June 2010 the GP speaks at a local educational meeting for NHS Healthcare Professionals, feedback was:-

 

“Yesterday's meeting was well attended with all 100 seats in the conference room occupied. There was a mix of GPs and nurses. The second presentation was from this GP on the aetiology of psoriasis and the best practice to manage patients in primary care.  The doctor’s presentation was hugely different from his nervous first meeting last December. I am sure that his attendance at the Conference And Platform Skills training session was a significant factor; he was chipper, amusing and his presentation was keenly paced. He also alluded to the setting up of the Federation, the politics involved, and the possibility of providing a cost-effective extended service in primary care: this is the project I am working on.”

July 2010 The Excel Academy receives an e-mail from the Representative:-

“I have spoken to this GP who informs me that he has just completed his appraisal.  This was carried out by one of the GPs who attended the protected learning afternoon 2 weeks previously and my customer received extremely high praise for both the content and the style of his psoriasis presentation by his appraiser.  I am so pleased for all concerned.  Many thanks. The relationship and business potential has blossomed even further as a direct result of the training.”
